You'll need an account to actually create a new project, but here are some of the details you'll need to know when you're ready to create a project, and some help about what to do next!
Project Ownership, Organization and Departments
A project can be owned by a single user, an organization or a department of an organization. This can be useful for organization projects. You decide this at the time of creating a project. Projects can be moved later if necessary. The user who creates the Organization in Scrumly implicitly becomes the administrator of that Organization in Scrumly. When a user adds a Department to an Organization, that Department is implicitly owned by the Organization.
When a project is created as a user-owned project, the user becomes the Project Administrator by default.
When a project is created under an Organization or Department, the user who is the administrator of that Organization becomes the Project Administrator by default.
Currently only an Organization's administrator can add projects to Organizations and Departments.

Name and Short Name
You are required to enter a name for the project. This will be the title used throughout Scrumly for the Project. The short name will be used as part of the URL, and will be formatted using letters, numbers and a hyphen. The Short Name will be chosen automatically based on the Project Name if none is provided when creating the project.
Optional Information
The description is optional, but if provided, will be displayed on the Project Summary Page. It can serve as a good information starting place for the project.
Project Priority
You can categorize Projects into Priority Categories of Now, Soon and Someday. Only projects categorized as "Now" can be actively worked on by a team. You can learn more about the impact of the Project Priority on the Pricing page.
Timezone
The timezone of the project will be used when determining events such as when a sprint is eligible to start, etc.
